I had two shows back to back last weekend and the one previous to that.
The first week I rode a mare named Roxy. I was trying her out, but she decided that she would rather go through the jumps, instead of over them… On friday we got reserve champion in the limit equitation, and then went downhill from there. We got 6 & 5 in the low children hunters.
Week two: Friday, on Edelmann, who I had only ridden 2 times, we got champion in the limit eq. Didn’t place in the Low Childrens hunters, understandingly.. we stunk! Had an amazing NorCal round, but didn’t place, but that’s okay because I was riding against really good people! Got 2nd int he CPHA and 2nd in the Childrens hunters!

So I’m leasing a new horse right now, named Edelman.. He’s pretty much the shit.. He’s awkward and tall like me, we pretty much get along, except for what he runs away from me… what’s new..
doug retired.
